1.    Why Spanish Teachers UK?

The strong point of our service and the biggest attraction for our students lies in the individualisation around which the classes are designed.

The majority of people who choose a private teacher as a way to learn Spanish do so impulsively, driven by a strong motivation and desire to learn - people who have perhaps already experienced the blandness of rigid multi-student methods, where the statistic of mid-course abandonment is particularly high.

The motivation of the student, and full commitment should be the driving force for any teacher, and what better way of achieving this than in a friendly, personal way, on a one-to-one basis.

Think of the recruitment of a private tutor also as an undeniable commodity, in that you don’t have to travel to an academy, which would, on the other hand, decentralise the classes, with a higher number of students, as the most efficient way of learning Spanish.

2.    Could you explain what is offered by your service in 10 points?

     1.  The lowest price in this field.
     2.  The first class free, where you get to know your tutor. No catches.
     3.  High flexibility for payments. Payment Cycles.
     4.  No deposit.
     5.  Personal tuition with qualified professionals. Native speakers.
     6.  Lessons in your home or office – you decide.
     7.  Personal courses geared towards your objectives.
     8.  Tuition specific to your needs.
     9.  Courses on standby for 6 months.
   10.  No small print – what you see is what you get.

3.    Why should I study with you and not with the Cervantes Institute?

In effect, the method and the manuals we will use will be similar to those of the Cervantes Institute. Cervantes Institute is a good place to learn Spanish, but without a doubt, the non-individualised character of its classes means that it does not provide the best atmosphere for students who want to learn Spanish quickly but also to a greater depth.

Academically speaking, a personalised tutor who moulds themselves to your needs will always be a lot more efficient in terms of the use of established methods. Also, be aware that the attention of an individualised teacher will not be divided amongst a whole class, but focused on the individual, and therefore, with respect to the quality of attention received by students, no academy can compare to a private teacher. 4.    How long does an intensive course last?

Between 2 and 3 months, according to your previous knowledge of the Spanish language and with an average of 3/4 hours of tuition per week.

5.    Why not take a course of fewer than 15 to 20 hours?

Out of experience, we advise you not to take courses of fewer than 15 or 20 hours, as it is from here that a point of inflection for your studies can be created, and all of those doubts that you may have may be dispelled thanks to a basis of knowledge.

Keep in mind that a one-to-one and two-to-one class is the equivalent of 3 or 4 conventional classes in the first learning stage. Once you have acquired the basics of the language, the learning curve rises constantly until you attain the intermediate levels, and it is in this period that what you have learnt is really 'cemented' in your memory.

6.    What happens if I cancel a class?

Nothing. If you have paid, let’s say for 8 classes, you have lesson nº 6 and the week after, you have to travel and cannot, therefore, carry out the programme for the coming week, or won’t be able to make it, for whatever reason. You do not lose your lessons. As long as your personal tutor agrees, they will be postponed until when it is convenient.
All we ask is that, if you cancel a lesson, your do it at least 24hrs before the class. Remember that the work of the teacher does not only consist of going to your house to carry out a lesson, prior to this, they must carry out preparation work for the ensuing class. Therefore, we would like to kindly ask you that you warn them as soon as possible. We can stand-by your tuition service for a period of up to 6 months.

7.    Will I need to buy a book for my course?

Our teachers will offer your all the material that your need throughout your language learning experience. We also know that many of our students prefer to own their own book, as a reference manual, and if you so prefer, you will have the option of acquiring the relevant book and using this in the classes.

8.    Can I arrange the times?

Yes, in principle you will always be able to, so long as your lessons won’t coincide with other students who we also give classes to. We are quite flexible in this respect.

9.    How would you advise me to pay for my classes?

Sincerely, we would advise you to use the electronic payment method, for convenience and speed. Have complete trust in the payment centre which we are offered by such a prestigious and secure business as Google Payment Ltd. If you would like more details concerning the payment methods, please visit the section How to pay

10.    Can I pay for my classes in cash?

Cash payment is not possible. We are obliged to register each payment carried out by our students.

11.    What types of clients contact Spanish Teachers UK?

The majority of our clients are pupils who, for various reasons, have a keen interest in Spain or Latin America; a house, a business/job, a planned journey. From young people keen to travel and explore the Spanish-speaking world to retired people who have decided to emigrate permanently to more favourable climates, we also have young university students, parents who share lessons with their children, people who would like to advance in their personal/career goals… in short, all kinds of people.
